Hazel Run is a city in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 63 at the 2010 census.[1]
There is also a separate place called Hazel Run, Missouri.[4]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all of it land.
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 64 people, 27 households, and 18 families residing in the city. The population density was 85.1 people per square mile (32.9/km²). There were 31 housing units at an average density of 41.2 per square mile (16.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.
There were 27 households out of which 29.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.6% were married couples living together, 11.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.3% were non-families. 29.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.37 and the average family size was 3.00.
